Agreed that it looks useful, but I've got another nitpick.

Regarding user experience, the focusing of the tab anchors is quite
distracting, too. While I realize this is a great fallback method for
script-disabled agents, the scripted version could focus the
appropriate area and cancel the default action of the anchor so the
page wouldn't jump and disorient the user.
