Status of the linkchecker and markup-validator in Debian

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to mention that the Debian packages for the linkchecker
and the markup-validator are finally entirely uptodate in Debian. After
the split in two packages, they have now migrated to testing, meaning
that they will be part of the next Debian stable release (codenamed "etch").

Apart for minor items, I don't have anything left on my todo list, so
please tell me if you think anything should still be done.

I have transfered all the reported bugs for the linkchecker to the page
corresponding to the new package; most of them are minor, and some of
them of some have already been reported in the upstream bugzilla. I know
you don't have much time, Ville, but in case, you can look at them at

  http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?pkg=w3c-linkchecker

I can submit some to bugzilla if necessary. There is no currently open
Debian bug for the markup validator.

All the best,

Frederic
