[meeting] notes and log for 2005-02-01

Here are my notes for yesterday's IRC meeting. Thanks to bjoern for 
sending me his IRC log, I am attaching a trimmed version as usual.

** access keys **
No-one was sure whether we are actually using them (in the markup 
validator and checklink) in the most "usable, accessible" way, or if we 
are in fact "stealing key bindings". olivier will discuss that with WAI 
folks, Ville is to document the access key for checklink if that 
consultation leads us to keeping the accesskeys.

** Icons **
The svg-generated icons are not yet pixel-perfect close to the older 
set, but getting close. olivier is to make another pass at it. Bjoern 
will investigate and find tools to make the generated png's 
IE-friendly. Also discussed was the idea of making the "tick" green 
(red usually having a negative connotation).

** Feedback page **
The proposed replacement for our current feedback page/process is 
getting close to readiness for production. olivier will look into a way 
to add the validated URI either to the body or to the mail 
instructions. Also, "order" parameters will be added to bugzilla links.

** Localhost validation **
The recent issues with some server/webhosts (?) causing a broken 
redirect made us notice a bug where the validator would validate from a 
private IP, even though this is not supposed to happen. Ville will 
investigate.

** CSS 2.1 support in CSS validator **
(some discussion after the meeting between Bjoern and olivier on how to 
add CSS 2.1 support to the CSS validator. We should try and get PLH 
involved in this, as he may be the only one who can make this upgrade 
relatively painlessly)
