I agree, that sounds great. Have you considered joining the Equity CG? Also, this would be something to raise with the PWE & Process groups (cc’d). I’d be in favor, yet don’t know what’s been done before and what it would take to make these things happen.

Hi Jennifer,

I don’t know if you’re still working on the inclusion initiative, but a thought came to mind recently. I know the W3C has one working language – English, but most international organizations have more than one. I just joined the Internet Society and it has three working languages, for example. I’m wondering if we’d have more global participation if we had more than one working language like most international organizations out there. We might need to discuss which languages to choose and how that would work, but I think that would increase participation of folks around the world.

What do you think?
