Re: Welcome to our Publishing Community Group!

Hello Gautier,

Thank you very much for the warm welcome!

After the very nice and above all motivating exchange at the Accessibility Summer School, I discussed with my employer Bookwire that I could join the Community Group on behalf of them.

I have been a Product Manager at Bookwire for almost 7 years and have become an ONIX expert over the years. I'm also involved in the accessibility task force of the German publishers association and I'd say that's where my metadata heart beats the most. But I'm also interested in everything else to do with ONIX and metadata workflows.

I would like to get involved in the Accessibility TF. I think that could be a great fit for me and maybe also helpful for the whole group!

Greeting from Hamburg!
Nina

Subject: Welcome to our Publishing Community Group!
Dear Nina,
Warm welcome to our W3C Publishing Community Group. We're glad you've joined us!

We're a friendly community that offers lively discussions about diverse issues in electronic publishing. Besides the plenary session, we have task forces where all colleagues with a special interest in a specific topic come together to investigate it in more detail during regular online sessions. Currently, there are three active task forces: the Accessibility TF (A11Y), the Anti-Counterfeit TF, and the Fixed Layout-Accessibility TF (FXL-A11Y). If another topic gains sufficient traction among our members, we may easily create a further task force. More information can be found in the GitHub repo<https://github.com/w3c/publishingcg/> and page<https://w3c.github.io/publishingcg/>.

Please provide us with some information about your background, experiences, and interests. Additionally, if you're interested, please let us know any topics you'd like to discuss with us.

Gautier.
