Hello Eric, Zheng, To chime in on Gutenberg: Eric and I met around the time when the new Project Gitenburg ( http://gitenberg.org/ ) started and we briefly discussed a11y at that point (at BEA 2015 it was, I think?) Bookalope understands the Gutenberg .txt format and is able to turn those text files into accessible EPUB3 automatically; it can also read the existing ebooks and turn them around. However, particulalry the olden ebook files from Gutenberg contain funky HTML which is a bit of a challenge to run through the structure classification. Since then, Bookalope has much improved though… 🤓 Zheng, feel free to go browsing the Bookalope API ( https://github.com/bookalope/Bookalope/blob/master/API.md ) and I’m happy to connect with you and make some of our internal tools accessible through our API if needed.
