I hoped to write a document about three types of navigation: content-doc-dom-based, spine-based, and nav-doc-based. But an implementor of MO in Japan pointed out that MO-based navigation also exists. He further pointed out that the order implied by MO is sometimes different from the one implied by the content document. Such differences impose challenges on his implementation effort. I will write a short document about these four types of navigation. I hope to further submit an EPUB publication that demonstrates the challenge. Regards, Makoto
