Re: Discover new usage of epub

I had the same in Firefox; but, at least in my case, this was issued by the EPUBReader extension that I have in Firefox. Ruth, may that be the same for you?

It works fine on Safari and Chrome (on Mac Monterey). And they are cool…

However: I am not sure what happens in the last entry. I downloaded the HTML book epub and I tried it in Calibre and Thorium, and it did not properly display. I did not look at the details, but I suspect the book rely on the execution of respec on the HTML source and this does not seem to work. (Respec is an pretty complex script to run, I doubt that Reading Systems are prepared for it.) For the demo of your reader it may be better to use an epub that is created after having dumped the respec results separately…

Thanks!

Now… Zheng, you will to reveal your secrets as for what happens behind the scenes exactly…
