Hi all-
Just a reminder that our inaugural meeting of the new PBG/PCG Anti-Counterfeit Task Force will be tomorrow, Friday, December 2nd at 9am EST/3pm CET [0] via Zoom [1]. An ics file with the meeting details is attached. We will be using IRC with the #publishingcg channel [2].
Our agenda will include:
* Talking about the purpose of this TF
* Discussing use cases of counterfeiting of published content
* Discuss any patterns or ideas that have been seen for how counterfeiters are avoiding the content being seen as duplicative
* Discuss initial ideas about how we might be able to identify epubs as "authentic" editions to help the marketplace
* Setting up a regular cadence for discussions going forward
If you can't join us tomorrow, please feel free to reach out and let me know if you are interested in joining our next meetings and feel free to add any info you have to our github issue: https://github.com/w3c/publishingcg/issues/49
We look forward to talking more!
