Regrets, another meeting. Re. the Digital Publishing Summit: - Ticketing is open at https://www.edrlab.org/events/dpub-summit-2019/ <https://www.edrlab.org/events/dpub-summit-2019/> - W3C members benefit from a friendly offer + this is still early bird time. - The program is still under construction, we already know that - Luc Audrain will introduce the benefits of EPUB 3.2 - Accessibility will be a priority topic too (discussed with Avneesh and Fernando Pinto, new president of Daisy France). - Ori Idan (Israel) will detail EPUB internationalization - A session on the first achievements of the Web Publication WG is under discussion (generic? audiobooks?). - Dahei and Shin Niina (Media Do Holding CEO) will detail the APL and the Manga business in Japan. - Rudiger Wischenbart will detail digital market trends in Europe - Cristina Mussinelli and Claire Leymonerie (from the French Culture Ministère) will detail new EU directives which impact our industry - Readium developments + LCP DRM deployment will be on stage too, for sure. - Voice access to audiobooks will make its way into the program. ... and much more. - We're looking for sponsors; it's a great time to get know in France for your products. - June will be sunny in Paris (and Gilet Jaunes are walking only on Saturday, in another part of the city ;-).
