New PBG Steering Committee and revised PBG charter announcement

The Publishing Business Group co-chairs have deemed that after the last meeting and subsequent email notice period, the proposed slate of new Publishing Business Group Steering Committee has been elected by consensus of the BG, and the proposed charter amendment adopted.

The new PBG SC is mainly a cross-publishing-group coordination body, comprising of :

  *   Liisa McCloy-Kelley (Penguin Random House) - co-chair Publishing BG
  *   Ric Johnson (Ingram / VitalSource) - co-chair Publishing BG
  *   Luc Audrain (Hachette Livre) - co-chair Publishing BG
  *   Rachel Comerford (Macmillan Learning) - co-chair EPUB 3 CG
  *   Dave Cramer (Hachette Book Group) - co-chair EPUB 3 CG
  *   Tzivya Siegman (Wiley) - co-chair Publishing WG
  *   Garth Conboy (Google)  - co-chair Publishing WG
  *   George Kerscher (DAISY) - co-lead, PBG a11y task force
  *   Bill Kasdorf (Apex) - co-lead, PBG external coordination task force
  *   Daihei Shiohama (Media Do) - co-lead, PBG external coordination task force
  *   Ivan Herman (W3C) - ex officio
  *   Bill McCoy (W3C - ex officio
