Leonard,

Under the agreements governing the combination of IDPF and W3C, the continued support and maintenance of EPUB 3 and related valuation/support tools falls to the Community Group, while the forward activity around WP/PWP will be driven by an official W3C WG which can't be launched until the Charter is approved - a much less trivial effort than your message implies.
In the meantime, the activities around EPUB that were governed by IDPF need to find a clear home as it will be an important standard until it's replacement is defined.
We are clear on the goals but the items in the agenda are important loose ends to be tied up so the overall strategy can move forward.
