Hi, This looks good. What about the subject line? Perhaps: Subject: EPUBCheck update and end of year push to complete our fundraising goal ($10K to go) Thoughts? Best George From: Siegman, Tzviya <tsiegman@wiley.com> Sent: Monday, November 2, 2020 8:47 AM To: PBG Steering Committee (Public) <public-publishing-sc@w3.org> Subject: draft message about EPUBCheck fundraising Hi All, Here is a draft message about last bit of fundraising for EPUBCheck. Feel free to tweak as needed: The EPUBCheck development team has been really busy over the past months. The most recent release, EPUBCheck 4.2.4 [https://github.com/w3c/epubcheck/releases/tag/v4.2.4] has been available for download since June. The EPUBCheck dev team has made significant updates to this essential tool, such as support for EPUB 3.2, integrating the W3C's HTML Nu Validator, localized messages in many languages, syncing ARIA and HTML validation, and a refactoring of the test suite. Please see EPUBCheck's Releases page [https://github.com/w3c/epubcheck/releases] for more details. The next milestone is an internal refactoring that will make it easier for those less familiar with the EPUBCheck tooling to contribute to the code base. We need to raise just $10,000 for the last milestone. Please see https://www.w3.org/publishing/epubcheck_fundraising for more information about EPUBCheck and how to contribute.
