Dear SC, Perhaps we could add this to the agenda for tomorrow. As part of the communications around this, I was thinking that a blog post in the W3C space would be good. As you can see for this white paper, the target audience is beyond the commercial publishing arena. We wanted to give you a heads-up about what we think will be an important development in the availability of Born Accessible publications. The attached white paper is titled, "It's Time to Use the Modern Digital Publishing Format for Your Organization's Documents You can review the acknowledgements to see who helped in the creation of the document published by the DAISY Consortium. There are some important items: * Please do not redistribute. We plan to send out the press release around September 10, and we do not want it put out there before that. * If you find any errors, misleading statements, or other issues, please let us know by sending an email to Sarah Hilderley and George Kerscher both in the CC field. * We hope that this will begin greater mainstream use of Born Accessible EPUB 3. * We took great care to not paint PDF negatively. * We expect that there will be other supporting publications that come out. We would appreciate being informed about your plans and if we can help in any way, let us know.
