I think it is in our interest to secure these domain and twitter names, regardless of whether we do something significant with them or not...

Of course, it is not clear from the mail if Scott is just releasing us the domain or whether a financial compensation is also expected... but I don't think there is.

(Of course, we will have to talk to the W3C system team who maintain these things...)
