Yikes! Thanks for noticing Ivan!! Folks, please use: <http://doodle.com/poll/eptmv99m7zs5i8rc> http://doodle.com/poll/eptmv99m7zs5i8rc PaulB, I migrated your response but you might want to have a look to make sure I did so accurately. --Bill From: Ivan Herman [mailto:ivan@w3.org] Sent: Tuesday, March 14, 2017 4:42 AM To: Bill McCoy <bmccoy@w3.org> Cc: W3C Publishing Steering Committee <public-publishing-sc@w3.org>; Karen L Myers <karen@w3.org> Subject: Re: thanks (and couple of follow ups from PBG-SC meeting) Bill, I think you should change the doodle for the week after. The problem is that the week of the 20th is still the exceptional week due to DST changes. On the other hand, my doodle shows the times in my local time zone, so what I see is 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, 9pm, and 10pm; but a week after they would be one hour later… Ivan On 14 Mar 2017, at 12:28, Bill McCoy <bmccoy@w3.org <mailto:bmccoy@w3.org> > wrote: Many thanks to everyone for the leadership and engagement at yesterday’s Publishing Business Group meeting! Extra special thanks to Rick for his deft chairing and to Leslie for the very posh digs. I gave co-chairs first dibs to respond on time slots for standing meeting but since we’re on a short fuse to get poll to all PBG members I thought I’d widen the circle to the SC as a whole. Please see Doodle poll at: <http://doodle.com/poll/7qepww5nxcw3kxie> http://doodle.com/poll/7qepww5nxcw3kxie and again this is for *standing* slot – ignore implications for next week. And, please if possible be considerate that it may be necessary with even the SC group much less the larger group to adapt, if you have 1:1s or other meeting conflicts that *could* be moved around or adapted to please make it yellow not red. For anyone still in London on Thursday I will be part of an accessibility meeting 10am-11am, info: <http://www.londonbookfair.co.uk/en/Sessions/35844/Making-Books-Accessible-Collaboration-between-the-Publishing-Industry-and-the-Accessibility-Community> http://www.londonbookfair.co.uk/en/Sessions/35844/Making-Books-Accessible-Collaboration-between-the-Publishing-Industry-and-the-Accessibility-Community , please come (/ promote if you are so inclined). FWIW I attach my (draft) slides, with considerable “inspiration” from BillK, Ivan, Karen and Avneesh (so George you get credit too). Comments welcome and I thought they might also contain potential fodder in case others of you will be presenting in other contexts. Lastly please note that this email is to the publicly archived SC list. Per W3C best practices it’s been recommended that we use this list by default to help “set the bit” re: transparency. It may also help the PBG as a whole have confidence in their SC if they can “follow along” should they so choose (likely few would since most of us have more than enough email to wade through as it stands). But that’s up to you all to decide.
