thanks (and couple of follow ups from PBG-SC meeting)

Many thanks to everyone for the leadership and engagement at yesterday’s Publishing Business Group meeting! Extra special thanks to Rick for his deft chairing and to Leslie for the very posh digs.


I gave co-chairs first dibs to respond on time slots for standing meeting but since we’re on a short fuse to get poll to all PBG members I thought I’d widen the circle to the SC as a whole. And, please if possible be considerate that it may be necessary with even the SC group much less the larger group to adapt, if you have 1:1s or other meeting conflicts that *could* be moved around or adapted to please make it yellow not red.

FWIW I attach my (draft) slides, with considerable “inspiration” from BillK, Ivan, Karen and Avneesh (so George you get credit too). Comments welcome and I thought they might also contain potential fodder in case others of you will be presenting in other contexts.

 

Lastly please note that this email is to the publicly archived SC list. Per W3C best practices it’s been recommended that we use this list by default to help “set the bit” re: transparency. It may also help the PBG as a whole have confidence in their SC if they can “follow along” should they so choose (likely few would since most of us have more than enough email to wade through as it stands). But that’s up to you all to decide.
