Regrets for missing today’s meeting – work conflict.

Instead, I’ll introduce myself here: I’m Caitlin Gebhard, Production Format Specialist in the Higher Education unit at Harvard Business Publishing. I work on our PDF, XML, and EPUB workflows. Previously, I provided XML publishing workflow support and consulting at Inera. I joined the Publishing Working Group because I’m interested in learning and shaping publication formats and the workflows around them. I’m particularly interested in improving accessibility to digital content.

    If you have not already done so, please review the group charter [1],  the public working group page [2], recent meeting  minutes [3], and our introduction for newbies [4]. We meet on Mondays at 12:00 PM Eastern. You can find meeting information on our website [5]. You will want to use IRC at meetings [6] and, if a dedicated IRC client does not work, you can use the web client [7]. 
    
    We have many discussions on our public mailing list (public-publ-wg@w3.org) [8] and on GitHub [9].

    On May 7, 2018, 19:26  UTC, Caitlin Gebhard became a participant in the Publishing Working Group. This person was nominated by Derek Jackson.
    
    This also implies that the following commitments were made:
    - to  have reviewed the Process Document on individual participant qualifications (section 3.1 [1]),  Member participation in a Working Group (section 5.2.1.1 [2]) - in particular that (1) the Member will provide the necessary financial support for participation (e.g., for travel, telephone calls, and conferences), and (2) the AC representative attests that the individual accepts the participation terms set forth in the charter [3] -
