Design Science creators of MathType joined forces with WIRIS about a year
ago. Recently, WIRIS released ChemType (which is based on ChemML) and work
similarly to MathType. Check out the demo: http://www.wiris.com/

Currently, ChemType has limited capabilities, but the company plans to
expand the tool in the near future.
