Eric - Nice start! By way of a possible cross-walk reference: http://www.iwi-iuk.org/cashmere/htdocs/html/newsletter/data/geoinf.en.shtml provides a cross walk between DC and ISO 19115: Spatial Metadata. ISO 19115 is currently in revision and I believe a number of comments on the draft relate to closer harmonization between 19115 and DC.
