PROVO-O in VOAG

PROVO-O is being used by the VOAG ontologies. VOAG stands for "Vocabulary Of Attribution and Governance". VOAG had its own model of provenance but this is now been replaced by VOAG.

VOAG has 114 license models. An example of the use of PROVO is shown below:

voag:GNU-GPL_V3
      a       voag:LicenseModel ;
      rdfs:isDefinedBy <http://voag.linkedmodel.org/vocab/voag> ;
      rdfs:label "GNU General Public License (GPL) version 3"^^xsd:string ;
      voag:supercedes voag:GNU-GPL_V2 ;
      vaem:acronym "GNUGPL"^^xsd:string ;
      vaem:description "This is the latest version of the GNU GPL: a free software license, and a copyleft license.
We recommend it for most software packages.
GPLv3 is not compatible with GPLv2 by itself.
However, most software released under GPLv2 allows you to use the terms of later versions of the GPL as well.
When this is the case, you can use the code under GPLv3 to make the desired combination."^^xsd:string ;
      prov:wasDerivedFrom voag:GNU-GPL_V2 ;
      prov:wasInfluencedBy
              <http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.html> .
The current version of VOAG (without PROVO), version1.0, is published at http://linkedmodel.org/doc/voag/1.0
An update of the 1.1 version of VOAG is currently in progress. The (work-in-progress) ontology files are located at:
