At the March 31 meeting, I was tasked with reviewing sections 3 and 4 and sending comments to the list. Here they are:

Section 3.1.1 has an editor's note about "interpret-as" seeming superfluous". The format for the "note" is not correct and needs to be fixed.

Example 2 has:
90274
'digits' is not a valid value -- it should be 'characters'

3.1.6 data-ssml-break-*
In SSML, this is an empty element, but when used as an attr for a , it may have content. What should happen if there is content? It the break before or after the content, or ignored?

Section 4

The formatting for
Values: date | time | telephone | characters | cardinal | ordinal
and
Value: The phonetic alphabet in use: ipa | x-sampa

differs in Section 3 and 4

Finally, I think someone pointed out at the meeting that we link to SSML 1.1. However, 1.1 doesn't define the say-as values and that linking to 1.0 is likely more appropriate. Or at least there needs to be some text about differences between 1.0 and 1.1 that are germane to the pronunciation rec.
