Irfan and PTF members, I just reviewed the survey and below are my comments/suggestions: 1. In the “Purpose of the survey” section, should we include some additional background information, for example we may want to include the following links: Pronunciation Task Force HTML snapshots are available on: · USER SCENARIOS - https://w3c.github.io/pronunciation/user-scenarios/ · GAP ANALYSIS (link exists in question #1)- https://w3c.github.io/pronunciation/gap-analysis/ · USE CASES (link exists in question #1) - https://w3c.github.io/pronunciation/use-cases/ · TECHNICAL APPROACH - https://w3c.github.io/pronunciation/technical-approach/ · OPTIONAL, once finalized: EXPLAINER - https://github.com/w3c/pronunciation/blob/master/docs/explainer.md 1. We may want to consider separating question #1 into parts, so that we capture more details, including: 1. The respondents product/service, so that we can understand their preferences/rankings 2. The approach (ranked preference) best served for their product/service, and why or how they believe this approach benefits them. This can either be a free-form field or we can include drop-down options (i.e. ease of use, most compatible, not supported, etc.) 3. Also include an ‘Other’ field, as applicable 1. In the “Your Opinion” question I have made some recommended changes to the “ask”; If none of the options in question #1 are not feasible for your specific implementation, please provide information on the approach you currently use or recommend for achieving the pronunciation and spoken requirements. These are just suggestions; you can take them or leave them 😊 Lastly, for meeting documentation, I wanted to note that I was on the call today but not online (irc channel) Thanks, Christine K.
