Hi All, Here are some groups that we have identified to talk with during the TPAC. Please let me know if I am missing anything. Here are some groups that we have discussed about: 1. CSS Working Group Giving them a demonstration about the work that we are doing and asking their opinion on our approach. We ‘d offer to update them on the Gap Analysis and why we're not adopting CSS-Speech, noting that we were asked by one of the CSS members to give CSS Speech a thorough look during TPAC 2018 in Lyon. 2. ARIA working group Need role(s) for semantic emphasis (parity for strong and em elements) #905 Because strong and em are not intended to be purely typographical characteristics (unlike b and i), we probably want to have non-generic role parity with them * Aria-label-speech : it covers some use cases. Aria can support pronunciation if CSS support all the speech property. * Aria-Label-braille : does that solve our problem? What's missing? * Are you proposing aria-label-speech? * Discussed survey results if they need an area attribute. (I am still working on questionnaire with Mark) I will take it with Joanie during the APA call and will log the issue in github accordingly. 3. Time Text Markup Language working group if we have little bit cross over with them. This will be for their information session. I guess 30 minutes should be enough to discuss this. 4. HTML working group Describe our approach and get feedback from them. Inline-SSML is solution and it’s a web component. This is probably Most important group to talk about and taking them with us to ride along in this wonderful ride. I will bring it to Leonie during the APA call this week or next week.
