Hi everyone, Here is our agenda for the call on Thursday 7 May 2020 at UTC 16. 1. Deciding next steps for PING tracking issues for Web Audio and Media Capture 2. New Web developments and privacy considerations 3. AOB Here is the information regarding agenda item 1 => Links to draft specs: Web audio API: https://webaudio.github.io/web-audio-api/ Media Capture and Streams (aka GetUserMedia): https://w3c.github.io/mediacapture-main/ These specifications are expected to be moved for transition in the near future. However, a number of privacy issues remain open in our tracking repository and many of them are marked “needs resolution” which means “PING expects this issue to be resolved to their satisfaction”. In preparation for our call, please review each of the issues identified below and consider: (a) does this issue need to be resolved before the spec moves forward? yes/no/don’t know (b) how might it be resolved (e.g. any ideas for mitigating the identified privacy issues)? (c) would you be willing to take on responsibility for shepherding the issue forward? Also, please take a moment to see if there are any other issues in the tracking repository which you think should be marked “needs resolution” and please be prepared to bring these to the group’s attention on the call.
