Hello all, Our next monthly call is scheduled for Thursday 7 February 2019 at UTC 17. Agenda * Review: Migrating high-entropy HTTP request headers to the Client Hints infrastructure Summary: "HTTP request headers expose quite a bit of information about users by default, even over plaintext. It would be better if this information was a) opt-in, b) locked to secure transport, and c) delegated by the first-party to specific third-parties. Client Hints, conveniently enough, provides exactly this infrastructure." - Author: Mike West Documents: https://discourse.wicg.io/t/proposal-migrate-some-high-entropy-http-request-headers-to-client-hints/3132/12 https://github.com/WICG/lang-client-hint https://github.com/WICG/ua-client-hints ---- Note: We *strongly* encourage everyone to review the materials in advance of the call. In keeping with the goal of reviewing proposals earlier in the process, we've identified this item as one that could benefit from our thoughtful feedback, so please prepare to contribute your privacy analysis.
