NFC vs. Bluetooth Smart JavaScript API

Hi all,

at the last conference call we discussed the desire to review the NFC
JavaScript API. The relevant spec can be found at:
http://www.w3.org/TR/2014/WD-nfc-20140114/

I raised concerns about the useless since NFC seems to be on the loosing
side and everyone nowadays pays attention to Bluetooth Smart. When I
looked for a W3C Bluetooth Smart JavaScript API spec I couldn't find
anything.

All I found was a (proprietary?) API from BC Sphere:

Does anyone know more about Bluetooth Smart JavaScript APIs?
