Hei Christine, Tara, Nick and W3C-PINGers. I was speaking with Frederick Hirsch after today's call and it occurred to us that we might want to discuss what are expectations/intentions are for deliverables around Privacy Considerations recommendations to W3C. My strawman suggestion is that W3C ought to have 3 levels of such deliverables. i) (The vision) W3C management would have a policy regarding impact of security and privacy impact on the specification work of the organization, ii) (The process) W3C PING would have an associated process for W3C spec teams to use to assess what would be in a security and privacy considerations section of their specs, iii) (The practice) Individual W3C Working Groups would have a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for how the W3C PING process is used in their working group activities. Would this make sense as a desired end-state? Frank/
