The Online Trust Alliance (an non-profit organization) is hosting our annual meeting October 2/3 in San Jose California. https://otalliance.org/events/2012Forum/2012Forum.html. The theme of the Forum is Shaping the Future of Online Trust, Innovation & Self-Regulation. A key general session on Oct 3rd is "Do Not Track" Unplugged - Debunking the Rhetoric, Benefits & Impact. The goal is to provide a balanced (respectful yet potentially colorful), view of the issues and provide clarity on the status of DNT and what steps publishers, advertisers and service providers might want to consider. The Focus is to provide attendees a 360 degree view with speakers representing key brands, advertisers, service providers, browser vendor and the consumer POV represented. The moderator is TBD. If you are interested, please reply off list with a short bio and contact info and area of focus. The programming committee is reviewing all submissions and plans to make a decision by August 13th. Thanks in advance. Craig Craig D.
