I often talk about how people need to see what they have shared to be able to understand the privacy issues. At the workshop in Princeton, I asked where is the mirror which makes me realize my behavior. This project without the similar goals is the type of mirrors I'm talking about http://datavisualization.ch/showcases/social-memories/ It creates an aggregated version of your behaviors. It is the illustration of the digital paved cowpath. By creating and showing our digital memories to ourselves we build a knowledge. We give ourselves the possibility of understanding, and we make our future actions more actionable by letting people decide what they should do (instead of blocking upfront without understanding). -- Karl Dubost - http://dev.opera.com/ Developer Relations & Tools, Opera Software
