A next candidate could be 'page-index-by-id', returning a zero based page
index for the given Id. I prefer 'index' over 'number'.

I use the page index/number together with the block's top-Y coord for
placing annotations into the final PDFs. Currently I read all these
properties from an intermediate format though.
