RE: Motivation for Linked Data

Hi,

We had one more work[1] proposing the advantages and relevance of
Semantic Technologies for AR, in the AR Standards Meeting at Barcelona.
This proposes a nice architecture on adopting Semantic Technologies for
AR.
Especially, it clearly emphasizes on distinguishing between the
content(uses the term TOI) and the 'geo' related stuff.

Hi Vinod,

I fully agree and would urge strong consideration of linked data (and/or

RDF), the benefits of having URIs for IDs (you can look it up to get
more information about the thing) and having shared understanding of
properties are almost unquantifiable. As you guys at DERI well know :)

Best,

Nathan
