Patrick: just to let you all know, I contacted PLH about taking PE Level
3 onto CR/REC track now. Philippe asked about wide review, pointed to
the one we had received recently (noting that Security never got back to
us at that point) and that we've not made any major other changes since
addressing that

# Clarify what "suppressing a pointer event stream" really means
w3c/pointerevents#504 / w3c/pointerevents#539

Patrick: there was the PR here w3c/pointerevents#539 which mustaq kindly
made and merged, but now retrospectively thinking: should it say
"document" rather than "web page"?

Patrick: hairsplitting, but want to make double sure

Rob: I can't think of a case where it's not web page... or maybe I can.
if you have same document frame, then can you capture the pointer in a
different frame?

Mustaq: no, capture doesn't work

Rob: we disallowed same origin capture? at some point it was supported,
but we may have removed it

Rob: if we DO have same origin capture, then "document" rather than "web
page"

Rob: it's edge case even then

Patrick: sorry, felt bad as soon as the question popped in my mind.
happy to just leave as "web page"

Mustaq: we USED to allow same origin capture

Patrick: ok, leaving as is, and i've already cherry-picked it into the
level3 branch as well. so level3 is now fully up-to-date and final

Patrick: for reference, level 3 is here
https://www.w3.org/TR/pointerevents3/

# Meta-issue: update WPT to cover Pointer Events Level 3
w3c/pointerevents#445 /
https://github.com/w3c/pointerevents/issues?q=label%3Aneeds-wpt+

Patrick: specifically these
https://github.com/w3c/pointerevents/issues?q=label%3Aneeds-wpt+

Patrick: so we have 3 still outstanding - we don't need to have them all
closed off, but we need to have them to end the CR/REC journey

Mustaq: I can look at some of these

#TPAC Kobe

Patrick: just a small check ... anybody planning to make it to TPAC?

Rob: probably not

Mustaq: likewise

Patrick: no worries, it is quite a long way away. I'll pencil in at
least a hybrid meeting, as it'll be good to get others that ARE there a
chance to sit in on our meeting (as we'll have some v4 stuff, possibly
even tying off v3 REC)

Patrick: we'll keep it short and sweet. catch you all in 2 weeks' time
