Fwd: [TPAC 2023] Call for Group updates and Technical Demos (videos)

Folks, I think it would be nice to do a little showcase/recording of
some of the new things in PE3. So far, thinking:

* setting the scene to just give a brief intro on what PE are/what
problems they're trying to solve
* getCoalescedEvents / getPredictedEvents (using my demo
https://patrickhlauke.github.io/touch/coalesced-predicted-events/) - as
part of that, also mention pointerrawupdate / pointerrawmove
* altitudeAngle / azimuthAngle (using my demo
https://patrickhlauke.github.io/touch/pen-tracker/index.html?azimuth and
as a general excuse to push this whole concept, mentioning tiltX/tiltY
as well, a bit more; cover the fact that we made normative algorithm to
convert between tiltX/tiltY and altitudeAngle/azimuthAngle)
* the fact that click, auxclick, and contextmenu are now specified as
PointerEvent (with demo to show how this can be used to determine what
type of input caused a click, for instance)

I'm happy to do the video recording etc. Any more
ideas/thoughts/concerns, let me know.

Patrick

Dear Chairs,

It's that time of the year once more! We're excited to invite W3C groups
to create videos that will be featured on the TPAC 2023 website [1].

This presents a great opportunity to showcase your work to the broader
W3C community.
Take advantage of it by providing updates on your group's work and/or
creating technical demos that illustrate the latest advancements within
your group.

If someone in your group is willing to record such a video:
      * Please share the name of the volunteer with mcf@w3.org *by July
28th (sooner is better!)*.
      * ... along with a proposed title of the demo, and ideally a
description of what the demo will be about.
      * We would then expect to receive the recorded videos by August
30th [2] for publication after post-processing around beg of September.

Based on the experience, we've built a collection of best practices to
help build impactful videos:
https://www.w3.org/wiki/TPAC/2023/Demos_and_Group_updates#Best_Practices_for_Recording_Videos

Many thanks for your contributions in bringing more exposure to the
important work your groups are pushing forward!

Best,

- Marie-Claire.
