plehegar has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/pointerevents: == HTML monkeypatching: initiate the drag-and-drop operation definition == From https://github.com/whatwg/html/issues/6758 We have apparently 2 instances of HTML monkeypatching. We should consider sending an HTML pull request to [initiate the drag-and-drop operation](https://html.spec.whatwg.org/multipage/dnd.html#initiate-the-drag-and-drop-operation) to include the requirement to fire pointercancel, then fire pointerout followed by firing a pointer event named pointerleave. All per https://www.w3.org/TR/pointerevents/upcoming/#the-pointercancel-event Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/pointerevents/issues/384 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
