That makes me wonder what the role is of the PointerEvent spec in asserting some consistency across implementations. Presume I'm applying enough pressure on a Wacom tablet for it to report `pressure:1`. Would the same amount of pressure yield the same measurement on an Apple Pencil? If I multiplied the amount of pressure being applied by 4, would Apple report `pressure:4`? Perhaps we should specify that `pressure:1` is the result of applying a specific number of newtons (or pascals) of pressure to a digitizer, and expect each vendor to normalize pressure accordingly. -- GitHub Notification of comment by appsforartists Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/pointerevents/issues/147#issuecomment-250325246 using your GitHub account
