Doug et al, now that the Status of This Document and the Revision History have been updated on https://w3c.github.io/pointerevents/, am I remembering right that the next step for FPWD would be to just send the information below to PLH and the Chairs list? Do we think July is a realistic date of publication? As discussed in last week's call, it seems that it's not too pressing that everything be *finished*, just that we have sufficient material that's different from level 1 to warrant publication. Also, are we ok with https://www.w3.org/TR/pointerevents2/ or do we want the longer https://www.w3.org/TR/pointerevents-level-2/ ? Draft email for FPWD: The Pointer Events Working Group wishes to publish the FPWD of Pointer Events Level 2 Title: Pointer Events Level 2 URI: https://www.w3.org/TR/pointerevents2/ Editor's Draft: https://w3c.github.io/pointerevents/ Estimated publication date: July Abstract: The features in this specification extend or modify those found in [PointerEvents], a W3C Recomendation that describes events and related interfaces for handling hardware agnostic pointer input from devices including a mouse, pen, touchscreen, etc. For compatibility with existing mouse based content, this specification also describes a mapping to fire [DOM-LEVEL-3-EVENTS] Mouse Events for other pointer device types.
