That is indeed an interesting use case - in the end Edge relies on the HW and the OS Platform to report that information to us. In the case of Windows Phone the OS tells us that width and height are 0 for touch input, so that is what we plumb through. Similarly, at least on my touchscreen enabled desktop, we get and report 26 for the width and height for touch input.
