Thanks to MS OpenTech and especially Nick Lebedev, touch-action is now implemented in Gecko and can be enabled through about:config in the latest Firefox Nightly development builds: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=795567 Currently it is implemented only in Firefox for Windows 8 Touch ("Metro"). Support for other platforms will follow. Implementation of Pointer Events is also progressing, and we have patches in progress (again thanks in large part to MS Open Tech) to support the events on Windows 8 Metro (also behind a flag). We don't yet have a target release for enabling the features by default, but we'll be tracking that here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=960316
