This was one of my biggest concerns as well. I was going to wait for the updates to land and then try to do a pass at reducing the number of files. There are places where there can be easy gains, such as merging the files named *_(mouse|pen|touch) and just having a flag for which set of tests to run. Many of the other tests can also be combined.
