I didn't get a chance to test your suggestions due to workload, but will do so
this week. However, I should say that I'm surprised that you're saying in W3C's
definition of a click, "over the same screen location" means "over the same
element" and not what it literally says. I doubt if anyone would interpret it
as that when reading: "A click is defined as a mousedown and mouseup over the
same screen location."
