Dear WG, the chairs and staff contact discussed the progress of the group towards our stated milestones [1]. In order to meet our deadlines, we will target a Proposed Recommendation (PR) by early December 2017. (We will then need to ask W3C for a WG extension to deliver the final Recommendation in early 2018). Working back from this: Nov: Finalise PR from CR feedback Sept/Oct: CR feedback period August: Final CR Hence, by the end of August (~4 weeks from now) we need to have the Candidate Recommendations (CR) ready including the Test Cases and testing regime. The current outstanding GitHub issues [2] will need to be completed by the end of this week. (This is the last call to comment, and a freeze on new issues.) And we will then work on the Test Cases. We believe we can meet this new schedule to secure the delivery of the ODRL Recommendations.
