[PNG] Industry reactions to PNG Third Edition release

Hello everyone,

After Third Edition became a W3C Recommendation, I spent some time
spreading the word. Reception seems quite positive.

says "...and honestly, I shouldn't be this happy over an update to an image
file format."
The story was the top of Hacker News

I obviously—as a media person that does a lot of code stuff and spent a lot
of their life working on media and encoding pipelines—I'm biased and think

immediate apparent win that *everything* should start adopting it and using
it (that is already on PNG at the very least).
