I’m assuming the “HDR Metadata” would be ST 2086 static metadata?  This would be “Mastering Display Colour Volume” and not MaxCLL and MaxFALL.

Is that a correct assumption?

Executive summary:

  *   Next steps in the recommendation pipeline.
  *   We almost certainly want to include HDR mastering metadata for tone mapping purposes. This should likely be an additional chunk included in the 3rd Edition. As such, it will need discussion.

The next meeting will be Nov 14th, 2022 from 11am-noon Eastern US time.
