Re: [EXTERNAL] [PNG] Meeting minutes - Oct 31st, 2022

The document and section I mentioned give real examples while ST 2086 provides the actual standard.

Yes, ST 2086 is sufficient but difficult for some to translate. ITU-T Series H Supplement 19 gives simple examples in a table form that may be useful.

Best,
Chris

I have created a GitHub issue for this<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/github.com/w3c/PNG-spec/issues/236__;!!PIZeeW5wscynRQ!prq7tRIZaW4UYO_i3H-V3rihe6miHKFH9O6vzUrDjw6tK5i7BDds51yJFHIsc9TZKB1SSq5rmZa6jdMbVQCl$> [1].

Chris Seeger, you mentioned ITU-T Series H Supplement 19; Section 7.3 and MaxCLL and MaxFALL. Is ST 2086 insufficient? Is more information used?

Can you take a look at ITU-T Series H Supplement 19; Section 7.3. It might be useful for this effort as well.

Tables 9, 10, 11 also have very good examples.

Yes. I suggest we use Annex B of [1] as a template:
