Chairs,
The Director is pleased to announce the chartering of the Portable
Network Graphics (PNG) Working Group:

The group is chartered through 31 August 2023.
The mission of the PNG Working Group is to maintain and develop the
Portable Network Graphics (PNG) specification.
Please use the following form to join the group. The form will also
instruct you how to nominate participants:

Please consider diversity when proposing people to participate in W3C
groups. Representation from a wider group of people, especially people
from under-represented groups, is vital for creating web standards that
meet the needs of the wider web community.
The Working Group chair is Chris Blume (W3C Invited Expert). Team
Contact is Chris Lilley for a total of 0.1 FTE.
The group plans to have its first major virtual meeting in October 2021
at TPAC.
