Hi Dale, Thanks for your nice words, and welcome in the group. I believe that github issues can be used for more general discussions, so I would not dismiss them altogether. There may be new tools within GitHub that we may want to explore (I have never used Github discussions[1], for example) but that plus the email threads are quite enough for our group. IMHO, opening up yet another tool (e.g., Slack) may be too much for the group... Let us make the best use of what we have!
