Dear Advisory Committee Representative,
[This announcement will be forwarded to W3C group chairs]

W3C is pleased to announce the charter of the Publishing Maintenance
Working Group.
https://www.w3.org/2023/06/pmwg-charter.html

The group is chartered through 2025-06-30.

The mission of the Publishing Maintenance Working is to maintain the W3C
Recommendations, as well as related Notes, in the area of Digital
Publishing published by the Audiobooks and the EPUB Working Groups.

Please use the following form to have your organization join the group.
The form will also instruct you how to nominate participants:
https://www.w3.org/groups/wg/pm/join

Please consider diversity when proposing people to participate in W3C
groups. Representation from a wider group of people, especially people
from under-represented groups, is vital for creating web standards that
meet the needs of the wider web community.

The group plans to have its first major (face-to-face) meeting in
September, at TPAC 2023.

The group chairs are Dave Cramer (Invited Expert), Wendy Reid (Rakuten
Kobo), Tzviya Siegman (John Wiley & Sons), and Shinya Takami (Kadokawa).
The Team Contact is Ivan Herman, <ivan@w3.org>, for a total of 0.10 FTE.

More information about the group can be found on the group home page:

described in its charter, the Publishing Maintenance Working Group will
take over the maintenance of the deliverables of both the EPUB and
