Michael: ATAG wg is probably going to be shut down soon, to the
benefit of the WCAG wg.
... ATAG 2.0 has implementations in real tools (this is a
requirements for recommendation status).
... Not sure where the implementation report is.

Janina: On Media Capturing Streams. Question on synchronizing
text - not in focus of this spec. Suggestion was to suggest the
abstract to be more accurate that text synchronization is out
of scope.
... Multiple sources of video and audio should be dealt with in
the spec.

Fred: Document is very young. Should be revisited when in a
more mature status.
... Should be put on the table when talking about reading
order, flex-box, grids, etc.

Michael: We took two of Gottfried's comments (4 & 5) and sent
them to the multimodal interaction wg on 2015-09-23. The others
are personal.
Comment 4 was on inaccessible links, and 5 on context object.

Michael: An extended vocabulary for describing sporting
information. Not sure about this.
... 3 messages on the mailing list.
<fesch> me/ baseball stats!
Janina: We probably need to care because it is so important to
many people.
Michael: Schema.org doesn't contain UI.
Shane: Only some sort of role.
Rechartering Progress
Michael: Judy and i are preparing responses for the Advisory
Committee.
... Next steps: New review from Judy. Send responses to the
commenters. Give them a week to respond to us.
... Our charter expires next Thu. We are probably going to be
out of charter for a week or so. Could get the new group (APA)
chartered by Oct. 14.
Janina: Issue about members need for joining new groups. Once
the new charter is released, it may take some weeks until
people like Rich can join the group.
... I suggest that we may need an overlap extension for the PF
charter.,
Michael: I hope that we will get a 45-day extension for PF once
the new group is approved.
... Our rationale would be to avoid losing people.
Janina: Can we have this call on Oct. 14, assuming we don't get
this done on Oct. 8?
... For TPAC, i intend to use both names for our meeting: PF
and APA.

TPAC Update - 2015 & 2016
Janina: TPAC 2016 is scheduled for Sep. 19ff, 2016 in Lisbon,
Portugal.
... For TPAC 2015, i am negotiating about our session time on
Thu afternoon. We will ask some CSS people to craft an approach
for solving the issues on Fri.
... CSS is meeting on Mon & Tue. Hopefully a few of them will
be still around on Fri.
... Two main topics: DPUB, ARIA and CSS. Are there any other
items on the APA page that we need to deal with at the meeting?
... Tab order problem should be taken up soon, also.

Shane: We have from time to time mentioned that we want to deal
with footnotes etc. Never made any progress on this.
Janina: It is a DPUB issue, they are defining use cases for
this. It came up on last Thu call. You need a reference to the
same footnote from multiple locations.
... You need to be able to list them out.
... We expect DPUB to help to solve this.
... Also, we want to finish the matrix from Michael on long
text descriptions. There are several fields where we need the
group's advice.
