As discussed in the PF call today, here is a list of current projects in SC35. WG6 on accessible user interfaces: - New version being prepared for ISO/IEC 13066-2 - Information Technology - Interoperability with Assistive Technologies (AT) - Part 2 Windows accessibility application programming interface (API). - Current working draft on ISO/IEC 20071-25: auditory presentation of subtitles, captions, and other visual text. - New draft on "User accessibility needs" (revision of ISO/IEC 29138-1, formerly issued by SWG-A). This standard will now be maintained by SC35. - New working draft on ISO/IEC 20071-25: Guidance on the audio presentation of text in videos (including captions, subtitles, and other onscreen text) - New part proposed on ISO/IEC 20071-23: Guidance on the visual presentation of audio information (including captions and subtitles) - New part proposed on ISO/IEC 20071-15: Scanning visual information for textual presentation. (This is on visual scanning of products or the environment to get automatically generated information about it.) - Upcoming DIS vote on ISO/IEC 30113-11 "Gesture-based interfaces across devices and methods -Part 11: Single-point gestures for common system actions". - New project on ISO/IEC 30113-5 "Gesture Interface Markup Language (GIML)" WG8 on remote user interactions: - New part 7 proposed for ISO/IEC 24752: RESTful target integration. - New part 8 proposed for ISO/IEC 24752: User interface resource framework.
